| Introduction | began plans for its first Afghanistan project in 2003 with women from four area churches. Hundreds of women participated over the course of 16 months to send a 40-foot cargo container filled with goods to Afghanistan. Sponsored by the Redlands California Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Women of Faith continues to enjoy the participation of women of many faiths within our community and elsewhere. Workdays are held twice a month at the LDS church on the corner of 5th and Wabash and include opportunities for women and youth of all skill levels. |
