New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Shirley Jump spends her days eating, shopping and writing romantic comedies for Kensington Books (Really Something, December 2007) as well as for both Harlequin NeXt and Romance (Miracle on Christmas Eve, November 2007) to feed her shoe addiction and avoid housework. She cleverly finds writing time by feeding her kids junk food, allowing them to dress in the clothes they find on the floor and encouraging the dogs to double as vacuum cleaners. I have a new favorite almost daily--from Barbara Kingsolver to Susan Elizabeth Phillips to Dennis Lehane to Stephen King to Deborah Smith...give me a book and let me at it ;-)
