About Me

I became President of the Chartered Institute of Housing on 19 June 2007. My term of office lasts for 12 months. A member of the CIH Cymru Branch Committee since 1990, I've served as chair of both the Branch and the Board of CIH Cymru. I was a CIH National Council member from 1996 to 2002, chairing the Policy Board for two years, and was re-elected to Council in 2004. I'm also a member of the HouseMark Validation Panel and was an external examiner for Cardiff University until last autumn. I've been Chief Executive with North Wales Housing Association since November 2000. In addition to a spell with Telford Development Corporation, my career has also included working in Wrekin, Chester, Delyn and Conwy.
