| Introduction | I have had a varied life from poor to not so poor and back again. I'm comfortable now. I know what it's like to do without. I have memories of being hungry as a child but not for long. I enjoy nature, animals to most humans and would probably put my own life in harms way to protect a child or animal. I'm retired living on my own little acreage in the heart of Texas. I garden, knit, cook, care for my chickens and dogs and play with my granddaughter. It's a good life. I have earned it and feel fortunate to have it. |
