SAG/AFTRA Helicopter Pilot. Former pilot/reporter for KABC and KTLA and KNBC in Los Angeles. Flew and reported from AIR 7 for Ch. 7 news from 2001-2005. Then a spent the summer of 2005 as pilot/reporter in SKY 5 for ktla's morning show. After less than six months flying for ktla I developed a fan base which led to me starting this blog to keep my viewers up to date on my adventures flying. Then from winter 2005 through the spring of 2007 flew and reported on a part time basis for KNBC Los Angeles in the afternoons and evenings for their newscast. I was born and raised in L.A. I have been flying helicopters since August 1990. It took me over two years to get up to my commercial pilots license and get a job flying. I could only afford to take lessons once a week or once every other week as I made the money to pay for them. It had always been my goal and dream to fly helicopters and eventually one day fight fire from them. I'm now living that dream! My Company: Horizon Helicopters, Inc. for production jobs.
