About Me
Ex Fleet Air Arm aviator (29 years!) and Project Manager (15 years). I sail my boat in the Solent and beyond, usually single-handed. My sailing philosophy is summed up in 2 statements: 1 - The smaller the boat (up, or rather down, to a point) the greater the use and enjoyment of it. 2 - When sailing alone it's just you, the boat and whatever the elements and fate throw at you. You can explore your and the boat's mutual limits without worrying about crew performance or well-being, and if your boat is small enough you can sail as often as you like without having to find a crew.
