Introduction | Currently, I'm a senior in history at Troy University. In addition to History and Humanities, I also study traffic studies and driver psychology. My primary areas of expertise include driver behavior's effect on fuel economy. I have worked in politics privately, as an elections official and judge in Tom Green County Texas, a subject of multiple marketing research surveys, co-owner of a curbside recycling company, supervisor of court-appointed community service workers. I spent two years working for a non-profit recycling center, where I educated the public about domestic and commercial recycling practices. I became enchanted with the study of humanities and history at Valencia Community College in Winter Park, Florida, a suburb of Orlando. Through many of my courses there, I learned to love art history, perhaps with a little help from a unique staff and oh, say, one John Berger! I accepted a position as a a library intern in the Valencia Community College Winter Park Campus in Spring of 2011. I will be studying in Olympia, Washington soon. |
