We fell in love over the phone, mainly because we made each other laugh for hours on end. Our life together began with a long distance between us- with communication occurring over seven thousand miles worth of separation. My husband was 9 hours ahead of me, and two bodies of water and two continents away from me, in Iraq. He loved me in such an incredible way that he would stay up hours later than he should just to talk to me as much as he could. He is my best friend and more than I could ever deserve. And in April of this year, we married. |
