| Introduction | I am a writer, a photographer, an artist in many senses of the word - though I am completely unable to paint or draw in a contemporary manner. Religion holds no weight in my life. My faith lies divided between the not-entirely-separate worlds of art, antiques, automobiles, and rust. Rather than being buried in a graveyard, I plan on being cremated, having my ashes sewn into a canvas bag full of hammer heads, and then dropped into some body of water. I love to fix whatever I can. An inanimate object has no control over whether or not it breaks, and therefor always deserves another chance. Under the surface, like many people, I am a hopeless romantic. Conversely, I am also a very cynical person. How I manage to balance the two escapes me. I am also terrified of rejection, and an obnoxious pain in the ass. I am a walking contradiction. |
