About Me

So - here's my deal. I'm a third year law student, and a new mom of an eight month old. Thus, if you do the math, you'll see I was preggo and in law school most of my second year (including summer school) and now have an infant. Oh - I should also mention - my husband is a reservist and he's in Iraq, so I'm flying solo for the next year. That's why I started this blog. I was hoping to find support out there since I'm trying to go it alone. There aren't any others like me at my law school! So - I'm dedicating this blog to all things lawyerly and all things mommish. I should qualify that last statement a bit. First, I recognize that lawyers suck and I recognize that there's irony in the fact that I'm studying to become one of them. I like to think I suck a little less than most. Second, I support all things mommish except frumpery! I will NOT have helmet hair (though I will wear Crocs) . . .
