| Introduction | Books are powerful. Written words can evoke emotions. Characters allow us into their worlds. Sometimes we can relate and sometimes our eyes are opened to new things. Books are important, but books that matter are priceless. So what makes a book that matters? It is a book that deals with important and tough issues in an age appropriate manner. One that I, as the reader, cannot get out of my head even after I am done reading it. One that has the power to impact others and make a change for the better.
