| Introduction | I am a columnist, author, and speaker. I write both fiction (post civil war women's literature) and nonfiction (Children of Light, Therapeutic Horticulture) but my love is creative nonfiction. I wrote a column for Family Times for over 15 years, until the magazine closed its doors. I've written columns for four other publications but find myself segueing into books as life slows down and I have more time to dedicate to my craft. My first book, Children of Light, is a book about raising a young man with disabilities while finding strength, hope, and faith. |
