Introduction I teach Horsemanship Naturally, provide equine assisted growth and learning experiences for humans in the company that I co-founded In the Company of Horses Inc. and have a therapeutic riding program for differently abled people. I got my first horse when I grew up and bought my farm! That was in 1990. I found the world of Natural Horsemanship pretty quickly. I completed the Parelli foundation program after I fulfilled on my dream of quitting my job and doing "something" full time with horses. That was in 2005. Since then I have been keenly interested in what is really natural to horses. I am close to 7000 people who have participated with my horses in equine assisted psychotherapy, I work with licensed mental health professionals and have co-facilitated sessions in addictions, character education, corporate leadership training, team building, helped companies find their new employees using our Dynamic Interviewing service and helped many people and horses find harmony and partnership.
Interests I am a fan of barefoot horses and trim all 9 of mine! I ride naturally, sometimes wearing an english costume and sometimes a western costume. Sometimes I use a saddle and sometimes I don't. I never put metal in any of my horses' mouths. I love to play with horses on the ground. And one of the things I enjoy most is problem solving and watching others solve problems with horses. That comes from spending so much time watching people try to find solutions to their problems while solving problems with my horses!
