About Me

Cynthia Wilson,"Chaplain of Pop", minister with a passion for music and art, spreads the word of god through innovative pop culture mediums. She received a Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary in 2006,and a J.D. from Antioch School of Law in 1979. Author, minister, blogger, artist, she is also a community organizer and social activist. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, she practiced law, served as an assistant minister at Calvary Baptist Church, actively involved in community development and public relations. She co-chaired the annual interfaith worship program "Imani Day" for Rosa Parks as well. Cynthia relocated to New York in August 2003 upon admission to Union Theological Seminary. In 2004 she founded a humanitarian network and associated music fan based internet radio broadcast, Heavier Octaves, an arts ministry--Creativessel Inspirations, and more recently, Heavier Octaves Consulting, LLC for non-profits . She uses her diverse experiences, creativity and cutting edge skills, to provide innovative new media and organizational expertise to non-profits,churches,musicians, and artists. She currently makes her home in the Washington,D.C. area.

What kind of tape is best for creating a sculpture?

I don't use any tape.I create what I call "music sculptures". All you need is a love of music,your favorite songs,compassion and a good ear for the person or situation for which you are creating them.
