| Introduction | 'stof' is the dutch word for cloth. I am a textile designer interested in design, art, photography and clothing. I was born and grew up in the Netherlands and live now in Tasmania, Australia, with my British husband. For quite some years I ran a fabric and fashion design business called 'Studio-C' and in 2010, I started 'stofandstuff', which is a small textile studio in Hobart, Tasmania. At the moment I produce: - large one off screenprinted artwork on canvas - limited-edition digitally prints on 100% cotton twill - digitally printed teatowels and cushion covers - hobo-bags, made out of a variety of natural fibres - some clothing. Slowly other items will be added to the production. My print-designs are based on retro wallpapers and mid-century textiles, but have a distinct contemporary and North European feel. |
