| Introduction | My family and I moved to Harcourt three years ago and we are very much in love with the whole area. One of the things that we were most struck by, is how good the food is. Not just in the cafes and restaurants but also the amazing local produce. Coming from the Dandenong Ranges in Melbourne this concept of eating and supporting local produce was very new to us. |
| Interests | Now we relish, (no pun intended), the fact that we can buy meat, small goods, pastries, wine, coffee, eggs, fruit, vegetables etc, etc, etc from our local, and sometimes very local area. To me it is so lovely and special to have all this amazing produce so close by and I feel very thankful to be in this wonderful part of Victoria and to have access to it. My blog is a shout out to all the producers as well as an encouragement for Melbournites to jump on the Calder and come spend a gastronomic day or weekend here. After all it’s only an hour away! |
