| Introduction | My husband Mint and I live in Somerville (near Boston). I work as a Scrum Master. I study Nonduality in its many forms (Zen, Advaita Vedanta, Sufism) for its impact on my quality of life. I believe, as the book Conscious Business advocates, that trying to achieve a work/life balance is unfortunate. Work is part of life and all aspects of life are to be enjoyed with passion. Nondual principles have positively impacted all aspects of my life. As for software development and architecture, I’ve been doing it hands-on for 25+ years. I stumbled upon the Agile community and the Scrum framework in particular 6 years back as great ways to encourage collaboration between team and customers and among team members, and, with a light-weight structure, get great productivity from a team of developers while having fun along the way. |
