About Me

I graduated from Syracuse University and Harvard Law School, where I met my husband. After clerking on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, I practiced law in Washington, D.C. for a few years. We moved to Kentucky in 1996. I've spent the last decade raising my three boys and writing, including a conservative political column for the Voice-Tribune in Louisville. When the column ended earlier this year, readers told me that they missed it -- and the opportunity to get a conservative perspective in Kentucky unavailable elsewhere -- so I started this blog.
