You've got to make contact with the alien leader. How will you tell when the conversation is finished?
I will know when the leader gives me a blank look mixed with some form of discernible expression of frustration. This will be followed by a change in spatial orientation between us, signaling there aint shit left to say. Happens a lot with conservative aliens.
