| Introduction | I am a 54 year old Christian woman, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, volunteer, who is active in my church and the community. I am also an 8 yr breast cancer survivor. | Interests | Family activities are #1 for me. I also enjoy the time spent with dear friends. My dh and I enjoy movies, games, participation in our small group (thru church), and our private time together. I no longer work outside my home for pay, but I very much enjoy my volunteer work. My hobbies include crocheting, sewing (I'm not that good), and varous other crafts. I also collect cookbooks, like to cook and bake (this is fairly new for me), I read christian fiction for relaxation along with a good mocha. Barnes & Noble as well as Starbucks are favorite hangouts for me. I make use of my local library, and love a good bargain. Resale shops are big for me. I love the Lord and have been a christian for 26 yrs. and I thank him for his goodness, mercy and patience with me on my long journey to becomming who He invisions me to be. |
| Favorite Movies | I like movies, but am not a movie "buff". Mostly I enjoy a good romance or comedy. I feel that every movie should leave you feeling like you are happy that you saw it. HAPPY ENDINGS ONLY!!! (OK, so I'm a PollyAnna) |
| Favorite Music | Oldies but goodies, (50's, 60's & 70's) contemporary christian, gospel, and easy listening for relaxation. |
| Favorite Books | Mostly christian fiction, no absolute favorite, usually it's the one I'm currently reading. |
