Introduction	-I love long conversations, especially when they happen late at night - I'm definitely a night owl, I can stay up all night, any night, but I hate getting up in the morning no matter how much sleep I've gotten - Smiling's my favorite - My life has been ruined by Hollywood - I love peaches - I'm an aunt, although I usually forget that - My favorite color is purple - I love cooking but detest cleaning - People who think they're "small-town" have no idea what it's really like until they live in Summerfield, USA - If I could have anything, it would be a room of my own... Like Miss Virginia Woolf - I prefer chocolate rather than vanilla, but my favorite is the twist from Braums - I have an irrational fear of leprechauns and exploding toilets - I love spending time with my friends and family - I have a deep desire to travel but haven't done much of it - My favorite cereal is Frankenberry, but it's incredibly hard to find - I love learning, Learning's my new favorite - I usually blame myself for things out of my control - My favorite artist is Marc Chagall.
Interests	I'm interested in English (the language and the major), psychology, the field of Speech Pathology, reading, writing, painting, sports, jewelry-making, soap-making, candle-making, scrapbooking, news that does not include Paris Hilton or other celeb gossip, politics, folktales, mythical legends, and the Bible.
Favorite Movies	I like a ton of movies because during the two or so hours that I'm watching a movie, I don't have to think about anything else. I like movies that make me laugh or make me think, or both. Occassionally I'll watch a movie to make me cry but that's only on rare occassions. But here's my list of a few of my fave movies: Across the Universe, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe, Pretty Woman, 50 First Dates, 300, Green Mile, Lord of the Rings (any of them), Singin' in the Rain, Ever After, Erin Brokovich, Casablanca, Pride & Prejudice, Hide & Seek, Pirates of the Carribean the 1st one, Love Actually, The Princess Bride, Tarzan, The Wedding Planner, The Little Mermaid, Ace Ventura:When Nature Calls, Sleepless in Seattle, Dumb & Dumber, An Affair to Remember, Elf, The Incredibles, The Holiday, Finding Nemo, Phantom of the Opera, You've got Mail, Cars, The Davinci Code, Once (if you haven't seen Once, then you haven't lived!).
Favorite Music	I could insert the saying, "I love everything except _____." or "I have too many favorites to choose." but in all reality, the music I listen to really depends on my mood. I'm very open to different genres of music. However, I prefer music that has a basic rock song structure, a subtle use of vocal harmony, acoustic rhythmic piano/guitar, mixed acoustic and electric instrumentation, and major key tonality. I am definitely a sucker for ballads, ESPECIALLY from 80s hairbands. In fact, I love a lot of 80s music. But just in case you need the specifics, here are some of my fave artists: Swell Season, The Frames, Switchfoot, Lifehouse, Fray, Adele, Aerosmith, Brooks & Dunn, ColdPlay, Michael Buble, Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Train, Drew Womack, U2, Enya, The Beatles, A Fine Frenzy, Rascal Flatts, New Reign, Budapest, Enrique Iglesias, Kenny Chesney, Phil Collins, I love the soundtrack to Phantom of the Opera, Regina Spektor, Ingrid Michaelson, the Buffseeds, Calexico, the Weepies! I still have a soft spot in my heart for the Backstreet Boys. They were my first love. Iron & Wine is my new fave. No really... I'm for really reals. I ♥ Iron & Wine. I also like filmscores which is kind of odd, but I think James Horner is AMAZING!
Favorite Books	Redeeming Love, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Harry Potter Books, The Davinci Code, Angels & Demons. I really enjoy Stephen King particularly 'On Writing' and his various collections of short stories. I got the complete set of Jane Austen's works for Christmas and I'm really looking forward to reading them. Also, most recently I have fallen completely in love with the Twilight Series. My friend/coworker Abby talked me into reading them. I read all 4 of them in less than a week and I was so sad when the series was over.

Never mind the turtle. Don't you think you're sure to win?

Probably not. I'm neither slow and steady, nor fast and agile. I'm a happy medium, so any either scenario... both rabbit and turtle beat me.
