| Introduction | I was born in 1937, I first learned to hold a pencil about three years later and I have been writing ever since. I have spent a lot of my life living overseas and this has given me insights into other cultures that I might not have had. |
| Interests | As well as writing novels I also write poetry (some of which has been published) and short stories (ditto). I am interested in all of what you would call the 'creative arts' - I have no particular favourites but I like to see or hear anything that is done well, marrying passion and competence. I also love gardening - using nature to make something beautiful and expressive. |
