| Introduction | Why Blog about books on the Newtown Bookshop blogspot? A good book stimulates the mind. Share your thoughts and feelings about a good book you just finished reading. Soon we will be establishing BBC's, Blogs for Book Clubs. Our in-store children's book club, young adult book club, and adult book clubs will all have their vey own blog section. If you volunteer to right the blog (the initial review to which others can post their comments) you could receive a special gift from the Newtown Bookshop. If you have your own book club, we can host your Book Club Blog. This means that your book club members can stay connected, even if they have to miss a meeting. It is also a great way to get people thinking about topics so they are better prepared to contribute to the discussion. With the number of school activities and extra curricular activities that are available, many of our younger readers do not have the time to come to book club on a regular basis. The Newtown Bookshop BookBlog allows them to participate in a safe, online dicussion with members of their book club. |
