Introduction	Making art has been part of life since my early years when I was tutored during school holidays by my favourite Uncle who hand painted advertising posters in the 1940’s. At the age of 14 one of my paintings was selected for exhibition at an art gallery; and at age 15 I received a Merit Award in art for being in the top 5 art students at our high school. While in Taranaki I completed a Diploma of Art majoring in graphic design which also covered most of the fine arts. (I've also squeezed in a Psych degree and Sociology degree just for good measure). I have worked in oil, watercolour and acrylic painting, various types of welding for sculpture, screen printing, drawing, illustration and glass casting. I have written children’s stories for a radio show and performed voiceovers and provided a series of illustrations which were synced the soundtrack as an animation.
