| Introduction | Ever since I was young, I possessed an intense passion for all things beauty, specifically makeup, hair and fashion. As the youngest girl in the family, I eagerly practiced on anyone and everyone – girls AND boys included! In addition to dolling up my Barbie’s, I used my imagination and came up with the idea of twisting paper with rubber bands as makeshift curlers to achieve the style I envisioned. Once my mom and her friends started to regularly ask me to do their hair and makeup when going out and for special events, I knew I wanted to transform my obsession into a career.
