| Introduction | The Oceanside Craft Mafia was formed with the goal of emulating the unique camaraderie and creative business ethics of the Austin Craft Mafia. In a nutshell, the goal is to help individual member indie businesses be more successful by pooling resources and finding creative ways to market and co-market our products. In addition to helping one another in business, the goal of the Oceanside Craft Mafia is to help one another on a more personal level – be lending a hand when needed and treating one another with kindness, respect and honesty. It’s as much a family as a business. It’s a group of people who can rely on one another to help, inspire, and care for one another. We work together as a team to ensure the success of all members. The Oceanside Craft Mafia actively promotes and supports other indie businesses in Oceanside and beyond – bands, stores, artists, publications. We appreciate and support the DIY ethic in all it’s forms and want to help support alternatives to the mainstream. We believe in promoting unity, ethics, and positive relations in the DIY community and helping to give others a hand up wherever possible. |
