Introduction	After more than 6 months of resumes, interviews, and rejections, I've decided to start blogging about the roller coaster ride that has been job hunting. And, of course, all other adventures. I used to think dating was emotionally wrenching--does he like me? will he call? why hasn't he called? why did I call? why do I even like him? Well, dating is like tapioca pudding compared to job searching (it's a bit awkward and mushy and mysterious, but it still tastes good. I like it even though I am not sure why). That makes job hunting akin to eating spoiled guacamole. It's unexpectedly ugly and sour. And it makes me pissed because now I have to eat chips without guac. While looking for a job, you get even less feedback than when you are dating but you can't stop. So, I guess that's why I've decided to write about it--because I can't stop.
