Introduction Darrell Matsumoto has been a practicing artist for over two decades. He moved to Rhode Island in 1980 to pursue his MFA in Photography at the Rhode Island School of Design (MFA 1982). He is widely acclaimed and exhibited, and is in such collections as the RISD Museum of Art, William Benton Museum of Art, and Franklin Furnace Archive at MoMA. He is Associate Professor and Chair, Department of Photography, Media Arts & Design at Chester College of New England. Prior to arriving at Chester, he taught at RISD, Roger Williams University, and Hamilton College. . . . . . . . . . . .
