| Introduction | The Student Insurgent is a free newspaper/magazine/publishing house based out of the University of Oregon in Eugene. We are a group of people (often students, sometimes not) who work to publish a radical publication that seeks to promote the work of those who are actively working to replace the status quo with one that is ecologically sound and functions on egalitarian lines. We strive to create a welcoming space where people can express themselves and get their stories to a large audience outside the filters imposed by the corporate controlled mainstream media.
