About me

Gender Female

Introduction I started my adult life as a biomedical engineer. I worked at NASA's Johnson Space Center for 17 years. Then came some major life changes (mid-life crisis???), and I went back to school and got a master's degree in special education. I've just started a job as an instructor in the teacher of blind students master's program at the Professional Development and Research Institute on Blindness at Louisiana Tech University. I'm the president of the National Organization of Parents of Blind Children. I'm trying my hand at blogging and writing my first mystery novel. I want to learn to be still and in the moment. "Simplify" is hard for a complicated girl, but I'm trying.
