Introduction | I am a middle child of five, an artist, writer, musician, singer/songwriter and many other things that involve making things exist that didn't exist before. I am Canadian, but having married a Yank, I am currently living in Boise, ID. I am hoping to live in a state of arrested development at the age of twenty-four. We'll see how that goes. I am not a creature of habit, but rather impulse and whim, which means I have a messy house full of unfinished things. It also means that I like to be in places that I am not, especially places like Santorini and Venice (I am not there now, but maybe someday, at which point I will have another place that I want to be, like maybe Istanbul). |
Interests | Art, design, music, poetry, fiction (especially actually creating all of the above) and random research on whatever catches my fancy at the moment. Also, Halo for that dab of nerd. |
Favorite Movies | Ones involving some combination of kung-fu, explosions, guns, car chases, and tattooed men. Not ones involving menopausal women dancing around in a circle, Meg Ryan, weddings, or the phrase 'coming-of-age' in the tagline. |
Favorite Music | Anything with relatable, honest lyrics and music that gives me goosebumps. U2, Sarah McLachlan, and Peggy Lee, along with dozens of others no one's heard of. |
Favorite Books | I love Anne Rice, Tom Clancy (especially 'Without Remorse') and the Harry Potter Books. I used to read at least a book a week, but have maybe read four in the last four years. I need to read more... |
Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?
Yes, and the missing link can be found at the KFC museum.
