| Introduction | New Zealand’s first & only Master Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers worldwide, & South Pacific Director for the Global Guild of Sommeliers. Experience includes (but is not limited to) writing, commentating, & reviewing all things beverage, including judging at Wine Award Shows in NZ & Internationally (Recently as Regional Chair of Judges for Decanter Magazine in London). Also enjoy Head Judge positions at Sommelier of the Year Competitions. Seems I spend a lot of time speaking on wine, beverage and hospitality related issues, traveling regularly to present NZ Wines and Food to the world as an unofficial Ambassador. Am proud to be responsible for a number of winelists - at the Michelin Starred Musket Room Restaurant in New York http://musketroom.com & in NZ Merediths Restaurant http://www.merediths.co.nz (amongst others) Much of my time is devoted to education - am in charge of the Wine and Beverage Programme at AUT University in Auckland. Am involved in the establishment of the Master Sommelier qualification in New Zealand and Australia - am committed to and passionate about being an instructor and examiner for the MS programme.
