| Introduction | I am a single mother of two young kids (4,6) living in Northern California, going to school full time and trying to eat as local and sustainable as possible for us right now. Prepping 4 28 comes from my mom's idea that "Life begins again at 28". When I began this blog I was 27 and getting ready to turn 28 on the 28th of April. Now that day has passed and though I didn't wake up and say " I'm a new person", things have sure changed...I left all my family behind, moved to Northern California, am back in school and definitely making strides in our local food commitment. I have been on this food journey for almost 3 years and am STILL not completely where I'd like to be and still don't make as much as I'd like at home, but I put as much time, energy, money and love into it as I can and slowly but surely we get better and better! |
