| Introduction | I'm 41, I have 2 AWESOME kids, and I have been married for 21 years. I have also been living in a nursing home since August, 2005. I was just 34 when I entered those glass double doors. I am currently writing a book about what nursing homes are really like - from a Resident's perspective. It will be the first of it's kind. I want to take everything I have learned from my own personal experiences over the past seven years and use it to help others and to shine a light onto what really goes on in the nursing home industry. In my free time I would like to start a blog to begin helping people who need honest answers and real advice in their own journey. Whether it be for a loved one, aging parents, or even yourself, I can share with you my first-hand knowledge you cannot find anywhere else because I am living it. |

| Favorite Music | I really enjoy getting lost in some praise and worship music, and being a teen in the 80's I will always be a fan of that genre of music, gotta love those one-hit wonders! |
| Favorite Books | As a Christian, how can I not love the Bible? Every answer to life's questions can be found in the Bible so it just doesn't get better than that. Some other books I have enjoyed are the Mitford series by Jan Karon, and the Southern Sisters Mysteries by Anne George - the sisters will make you laugh out loud with their antics and unique ways of solving mysteries |
