About Me

My love for the outdoors began in my childhood. My outdoor experiences started in Southern California with family outings. My passion growing more towards the mountains as I grew older. I headed north to Chico obtaining a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Recreation Administration. I spent the next several years working for the park and forest service traveling to different states. Mt. Shasta has been my home for over 18 years. Currently I work as an Information Specialist for the area. I also am a tour guide and mountain guide locally. August 2008 my book "Mount Shasta Guide to Fun" is available and out for distribution. It has been a work in progress for many years and I'm very excited to get it completed.
