Introduction	Looking for and interested in anything that helps my personal compass point North. I do this in the tradition of my ancestors--they used their musical ingenuity to map their way North to freedom I was raised in a Protestant (Presbyterian) household in the south. Since I have left home, I have traveled all over the world and been exposed to lots of different things. I am at the point in my life where I am trying to reconcile all I have learned and map the path to the rest of my life. Hopefully, that path is heading North (freedom in this world, Heaven in the next).This is, I think, my life journey.

Favorite Music	I have to admit, I was an early adopter of rap music and hip-hop, though I have gone through phases of tuning the genre out. One time! The Be-Bop era of jazz. Those Cats were Cool. Afro Beat: slept on Fela initially...now a big fan Handel's Messiah gives me chills every time I listen to it.
Favorite Books	Michael Chrichton is my favorite contemporary author of all time.
