About Me
BA (TCD), MRUP (UCD), Dip. (UD), Dip. (EIA/SEA), MIPI is a Town Planner. His principal areas of expertise are the preparation of development appraisals, feasibility and viability studies, and planning negotiations and appeals. He has provided project consulting services to a wide range of clients in both public and private sectors in Ireland and the United Kingdom. His most recent positions include: Lecturer in Spatial Planning at Dublin Institute of Technology, where he taught under- and post-graduate courses in Spatial Planning, Planning Practice, and Urban Design, and Development Control Planning Officer with Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council. He has also worked in the private sector. He has attended Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin and maintains a degree in Economics, a Masters degree in Regional and Urban Planning, and diplomas in Urban Design and in Environmental Impact Assessment / Strategic Environmental Assessment. As a researcher his reports have been published in Ireland, the UK and Australia. He is a Corporate Member of the Irish Planning Institute.
