| Introduction | I live on an island in the South Pacific, imaginatively called the South Island, New Zealand. I like cinnamon, putting my hands on my hips, vintage/retro/antique/oldfangled/time warps and chimeras. I don't like moths, mushrooms or politicians. I grew up in the mumble mumble era, in a small southern town, and learned to sew doll clothes on a lovely old treadle machine Mum put in our bedroom. In my teens I got hopelessly addicted to the mainly harmless pursuit of op-shopping, and it's been all downhill from there. I have a sleepy cat called Lola who thinks she rules the roost. |
