| Introduction | I try to embody the best of both worlds: the new world of multimedia journalism, and the old world of traditional media — from traditional forms of television and radio storytelling, to Twitter, Facebook, Dreamweaver, and Soundslides. I'm from Minneapolis, Minn., and am a reporter and anchor at KOMU-TV (NBC) and KBIA-FM (NPR) in Columbia, Mo. I spent last summer as a reporter intern at KTTC-TV (NBC) in Rochester, Minn. When I'm not reporting the news, I'm probably consuming it in some way... or waving a Homer Hanky, watching a good movie, whiffing on the golf course, or figuring out how to cook.
