Introduction | I'm a writer working in corporate communications. A journalist by background, I often miss penning a piece about the wider world outside of company news. As I've got older those heart-warming and lump-in-the-throat tales seem to have the 'wait don't blink or I'll cry' effect on me more and more often. I don't know if I'm softer than I was at 18 or I'm just more aware of the injustices in the world. Either way I try to do my bit - cheering on runners for Cancer Research UK or writing letters for Amnesty International. This blog is a way for me to combine my loves and write about what I hold dear. Without having to run it by the suits first. |
