About Me
I'm a writer/editor and currently Managing Editor of Steam Industries, the company behind www.weirdandbeard.com. Previously, I managed the comics-to-mobile project ROK Comics. Magazine titles I've edited included range from Doctor Who Magazine and Star Trek Magazine to Simpsons Comics UK and Marvel UK's Death's Head II. I've written for Marvel UK, Toontastic, Titan Magazines, Judge Dredd: The Megazine, although some still consider my most high profile comics writing to be "The Science Service", which was drawn by the legendary Rian Hughes, weirdly the first major comics writing I ever did so perhaps it's been downhill ever since. I still write "The Really Heavy Greatcoat", as well as news and features for a variety of publications including Star Trek Magazine and Comics International. I'm also writing a new SF comic strip, "Ex Astris", which appears in Spaceship Away and features on ROK Comics.
That can't really be a fish you're standing on, can it?
No, it's yet another piece of laminated plastic some idiot chucked over the side of a ship.
