Introduction Lexi Peacock recently graduated from Yale with a dual degree in history and Spanish. Not having a clue as to what to do with her life, she decided to take some time to ponder life's great mysteries, read tabloids in foreign languages, and drink some really great beer. She figured that this is the time to explore new things, such as referring to herself in the third person. She'll be travelling for the next 6 months throughout Europe and Latin America sometimes via traditional hostel routes, but more often working small jobs in the areas she visits. Some highlights will include scrubbing toilets at hostels, working reception at nudist lodges, herding sheep, and directing wanna-be surfers to the beach. Ms. Peacock tends to travel with only basic information on general safety precautions unique to each area, but otherwise flies blind. Aside from pure laziness, this method allows her to be truly shocked by what she finds in each region, without the dulled reaction that tends to come with vigilant research (who knew there's a river in Sevilla?!). If nothing else, Lexi's lack of preparation lands her in some predicaments that keep life interesting, so stay tuned!
