| Introduction | Married with 2 daughters - one at home (20) and one married (23). Two animals - Dog & Cat. Been quilting since about 1984. Tried almost every type of handcraft - Knitting, Crocheting, Cake Decorating, Weaving, Upholstery, Cross Stitch. I resisted Patchwork because I already had enough Cross Stitch patterns to keep me busy til I was 100, but gave in and have been doing more of it than cross stitch since. Have far too many UFOs and planned quilts (not yet started) - I will be busy til I am 200 now!. I really enjoy putting the tops together, though I also love making bags - not so keen on the quilting part. My friends tell me I do Colour well and "have an eye for detail" - that means that I will buy 20 cm of fabric to get exactly the right print for whatever and that I will cut tiny daisies - about half an inch or less - from fabric to sew onto a quilt! |
