Just Another Ordinary Miracle

About Me

I was born with a rare genetic syndrome due to a partial deletion of my 21st chromosome. I have anophthalmia, which means I was born without my eyes. Therefore, I am blind and wear beautiful green prosthetic eyes. I do not hear very well so I wear hearing aids. I eat through a g-j feeding tube in my stomach. I battle a seizure disorder, but do not let it slow me down. I have microcephaly and a deformity to my heart. My cleft lip and palate have been repaired and my trach has been removed. I have triumphed over many obstacles, yet have many more to face. God has granted me many blessings. This is the story of my life and my family's new "normal".
