| Introduction | Ever since I was a small child, I have had a magnetic pull towards anything related to art. Every scene my curious eyes took in - special family moments, old and broken buildings, even our dog's footprints in the snow - I desired to remember. The simplest or even the most detested of things can be stunningly beautiful through the right frame of mind. Art, in its many forms, has fascinated me my entire life, and I welcome it into everything I do. From the daily chores of cooking and baking, to the task of design and photography, I apply art into all of my creations. Growing up, I almost always had a camera or a pen in my hand. Capturing the many various expressions of my loved ones, the most beautiful scenery, and even the loneliest places...these are the simple, yet inspiring ideas, behind my work. Personal history is one of our most precious possessions; photography and journaling are the largest parts of that. We grow so quickly, we change so drastically, each year come and gone with the seasons. Pictures help us to never forget, they help us to remember forever... |
