| Introduction | I am Chris. I like books. More specifically I like fantasy books. It's been the same since I was a kid. It's the instant gratification of knowing that you are reading a thing of pure imagination, where the laws and precepts governing what you're reading are the result of the meanderings of a single mind and as such only limited by the ability of that mind to imagine. It is a freedom not so readily afforded to authors who would write in other genres. By no means do I only read fantasy, yet it makes up by far the largest proportion of the material I read. I also love cinema of all types whether its an old spaghetti western, a blockbuster or a low-budget indie flick from an unknown director. The rest of my time is spent with friends and family and watching/playing sport. My favourite time of year is Winter. My favourite sport is snowboarding. My favourite colour is fresh grass green. I love spicy food and apple pie but can't abide raw apples. My favourite type of coffee is a flat white and my favourite type of tea is Earl Grey. I listen to music constantly. |
