| Introduction | Born in 1990 , the year when Gaw Kadal massacre took place . And having witnessed armed uprising and struggle for existence in the years that followed , it is the insurgency he witnessed during his childhood that inspired Haze Kay to pick up the mic . He became the first rapper of kashmir after he released his first track "Puff endorsed" on 21/7/09 . In 2010 Haze Kay went to Pune. . Over there he performed at various events and colleges like D.Y.PATIL college , Symbiosis institute of technology , International School of Business Management . In order to spread the word about kashmir in 2011 he performed "aazadi ...a word to the govt" and won a cultural event in Pune by the name "CRESCENDO".. In february 2012 he performed at Foodcraft institute , event named as Harmony ,in Rang Tarang at Rotaract district Conference 2011-2012 of Rotary District 3131 , hosted by Rotaract Club Of Panvel Midtown, represented Rotaract Club of Akurdi over there , performed "aazadi" at Spandan 2012, held at panvel , and dedicated the song to Gaza and Kashmir, performed "i was born like a quiet storm and a Kashmiri" in Sparsh 2012 , the annual event of D.Y.Patil college of physiotherapy . |
