Introduction	So I'm a teacher candidate at USC who recently got into a near-death experience that has jolted me back into focus. Inspired by all the protest movements out there, especially those led by students, my goal is to brainstorm ways in which my students can make the change in their communities for themselves. How can they make the communities and places they live in a better place? How can they rise above the complacency and the passiveness that the establishment encourages in all of us? How can we avoid waiting for those at the top to bestow change upon us at the bottom in their self-proclaimed magnamity?
