Welcome to Novice Wine Snob. Follow along as my wife Lucinda and I enter the world of wines and reviews. Why do we want to do this? Well, because we have that kind of time. I am 45 and Lucinda will kill me for telling, but she is 44. We sold a business and have retired. We have recently fallen in love with red wines after being introduced to them by a friend of ours named Doug Edwards. We like the cabs and the Shiraz and the Merlot. There, I said it, I like Merlot. We will attempt to learn how to sample wines, how to rate wines, and generally, get a warm happy buzz while we are doing it :)
