Introduction I'm Associate Professor of learning technology in the Faculty of Health, Education and Society, at Plymouth University. I chair the Plymouth e-Learning Conference, and I serve on the editorial boards of ten international journals, including the open access publications Research in Learning Technology (formerly ALT-J), Digital Culture and Education, and IRRODL. I'm the chair of the UNESCO sponsored IFIP WG 3.6 (Distance Education). I'm a Fellow of the European Distance and E-learning Network (EDEN) and a member of EDEN's NAP steering group. My research interests include e-learning, distance education, creativity and Web 2.0 social software. Oh, and I'm @timbuckteeth on Twitter, the views expressed on this blog are my own, and I don't do endorsements or advertising.
Interests Guitar (I own both Fender and Gibson solid bodies and a number of accoustic guitars including Guild and Aria). I also own an old mandolin which I haven't played seriously for many years.
